W.I.P. = a chance to shop

I have long wanted to have a WIP worth showing on my blog. In lieu of that this will have to do. It's on cork, it involves my first public attempt at embroidery (a bit of a stretch to call it that really but I can so I shall) and it's all a little bit...yeah. But for what it is (small and sort of rough in places) it's cute as!



I used one of those needle threaders to thread the embroidery cotton (6 strands takes lot of tugging btw) and promptly broke it, then the next. I never thought I would use them, let alone use to them breaking point. Suddenly it's 30 minutes until the only local shop with haby stuff closes and I have to decide....wait until tomorow to get more or walk down NOW. Wait, walk, wait, walk....I walked down to the shops for the second time today. When did I get so....unlazy? Turned out needle threaders are piss cheap so I had a bunch of change left over to spend.
