stencil attempt #2

I tried again on thicker fabric, a babies $2 t-shirt. I also used a brass stencil instead of freezer paper cos I was too lazy to iron the paper on. Either way it came out so well.

So after the crayon fiasco I decided to try freezer paper stencils. Freezer paper is a novelty craft item here, $1.39 a metre in craft stores. I bought all I could find, some fabric paint and dug up some fabric I had that I didn't have a use for and set to work. Once it dried I peeled off the paper....and the paint had bled. Bugger!! I'm hoping it was just the type of fabric and I'll try again this weekend but shit, that day was not a good one for crafts. After both those 2 mishaps my sewing machine bit the dust. Grrrrrrrr.
